HYDAC DLHSR-01X-16/100 Charging Valve

The HYDAC DLHSR-01X-16/100 accumulator charging valve is a pilot-operated, spring-loaded spool valve in a sandwich plate or inline piping housing design. Its function is to regulate the charging process of the hydraulic accumulator within a specified switching range. The valve of HYDAC assembly integrates a pilot stage with defined hysteresis characteristics, a main spool, and a check valve.

Operation principle:

Via the pump port P, the accumulator at port A is charged through the check valve.

When the accumulator pressure exceeds the preset value of the pilot stage, the main spool opens to relieve the pump flow to tank port T.

When oil consumption causes the accumulator pressure to drop by the switching pressure differential, the pilot stage recloses and accumulator charging resumes.

Critical notes:

Switching pressures are influenced by back pressure at port T!

Select the switching pressure differential as large as possible!

Configure cutoff pressure and accumulator sizing relative to pump flow rate to ensure charging time >1s!
